We love our family!

Bullseye!
We've had such a  busy few days!  We finished visiting my parents on Sunday, but not before Michael had the chance to take Luke to an archery range for some fun - this was the best shot of the day!  He was so proud.

We then left Scottsdale for Laveen, AZ to visit our friends Mark and Mary.  Mary is expecting their second baby in the next couple weeks, so she was very gracious to allow us to invade for a few days.

Yesterday we left Arizona behind and traveled to Santa Teresa, New Mexico to stay the night with  Michael's Dad and his Step-Mom in their beautiful new home.

That was quite the drive.  About 100 miles away from our destination - in the middle of nowhere - we started having some odd issues with the RV - all of a sudden the Rear ABS light came on, the speedometer needle started bouncing around like crazy, and the RV started shifting gears oddly - and then periodically shifting into neutral!  It was AWFUL!  We stopped in Deming, NM at a Ford dealership to ask about possible causes and whether we could push on to Michael's dad's house without hurting the RV.  Eventually, we limped into Santa Teresa - I was so stressed out after all of that I was literally in tears.

Fortunately for us, Michael's brother Louie was checking his email, and after a quick conversation Michael was off to his house to repair the RV.  By that time Michael had figured out that it was the rear ABS sensor causing all the craziness - Fifteen dollars and an hour later, the RV was all fixed up and ready for the road again.  Unbelievable!  Our dog Sophie made friends with one of their pups and ended up hanging out for the night.   We are SO grateful that Louie answered that email so fast!

Second cousin fun!

Today we traveled to stay the night with Michael's Tia and Tio in El Paso.  Michael's cousin Rosie has three girls - and the kids had a blast playing all afternoon and night - they all collapsed in the living room about an hour ago!

Tomorrow we launch into our full blown road trip (as if four states already doesn't count as a road trip!) and I am so excited.  I hope to post pictures again on Sunday evening.  Hope everyone is well!
