Feeling HOT HOT HOT!

IT IS SO HOT IN AZ!  Today it is supposed to be 109 and tomorrow it is going to be 111.  Michael is going golfing tomorrow.  I think he's insane!

We have had a really great first week here in AZ.  Sunday and Monday we spent with Michael's mom's family - the Pell Family - out in Gilbert.  We had a great family dinner with 20+ family members on Sunday, including Michael's grandpa, and then spent Monday hanging out with Michael's Aunt Janet and Uncle Rob.  Also on Monday we replaced all six tires on the RV - so now we are officially "safe" and totally broke.

Tuesday we headed to San Tan Valley to visit our friends Carrie and Frosty.  I dated their son many years ago, and have stayed friends now for years.  We had a great visit with them - and somehow Carrie got me motivated to go walking at 6:30 am both days.  Not exactly my normal routine!

We headed to Scottsdale today to see my parents and we will be here until Sunday.  My dad was home for a visit from the nursing facility today, so it was nice to have some quiet conversations.  We'll go see him over there this weekend.  

This part of our vacation isn't as exciting to read about as it will be in a week or so - but it is really fabulous for the five of us to see all these people that we love so much!
